GUIDELINES FOR INTERNSHIP AT VJ MATHEW & CO
NOTE : Please apply strictly two months before your preferred internship dates with latest CV/Resume including recent Photograph. Early applications will not be entertained.
NOTE : Internships will be offered only at our Cochin Office, Kerala
- Office hours are 9:00 am – 5:00 pm. Please be punctual.
- Working days: Monday to Friday; Saturday till 1:00 P.M.
- Holidays : 2nd Saturday and Public Holidays
- Dress Code: Formal (Black & White)
- Please carry your laptop every day.
- On the day of joining, interns have to submit a letter/bonafide certificate from their college along with a recent passport size photograph and copy of address proof/ID card.
- For leave, take prior permission from the internship coordinator. Adv.Merline Mathew and in cases of emergency, inform the lawyers in the office. If the number of leave exceeds two days without sufficient reasons and without permission of the firm, it will be mentioned in the internship certificate.
- Certificate will be granted on the last day of internship only if the internship report is submitted two days prior to it.
- Lunch break is between 1:00-2:00 pm.
- Switch off Fan, AC and lights when you leave the interns’ room and follow the guidelines.
- Please return the case files, books after reading.Do not leave it in the interns’ room while leaving the room.
- All and any information acquired during the internship from our office is confidential and interns shall not reveal to any person or organization such confidential information relating to the firm, its clients, work and policies. In the event of any breach, you will be held liable for breach of confidentiality.
- In case of cancellation of internship, it has to be intimated to the firm atleast one week before the date of commencement, failing which we will be forced to report to the college and the firm will black list the candidate since other interns / students are losing their opportunity.
- The intern shall handle the property of the office carefully and in case of damage due to the wilful act, the concerned intern will be held responsible.
